Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty has successfully wrapped up an African tour that included visits to Chad, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Niger, Mali, and Senegal. This tour marks a significant step in Egypt's foreign relations and economic engagements with the African continent.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty was accompanied by a delegation of 30 businessmen and representatives from various public and private sectors. These representatives were involved in industries such as agriculture, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, mining, manufacturing, and new and renewable energy. The delegation was led by Sherif El-Gabaly, Chairman of the Board of the Egyptian Chamber of Chemical Industries (FEI).
Prominent organizations such as the Egyptian Future Authority for Sustainable Development, the Mineral Resources and Mining Industries Authority (MRMIA), the Pharmaceutical Export Council, and the Egyptian Exporters' Association (Expolink) were part of the delegation. Additionally, companies such as Electric Charge Company, MTS, SamCrete, Orascom Construction, Elsewedy Electric, the Arab Contractors, El Ameria, Life Chemicals Group, and Egyptian United Group also accompanied the Minister.
The tour underscored collaborative efforts and partnerships between Egypt's public and private sectors to bolster economic and investment relations with African nations. This initiative aims to enhance regional integration and foster mutual growth and development across the continent.
