Cairo: The Ministry of Health and Population hosted a Namibian delegation to showcase its experience in digital transformation in the healthcare sector, as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral health cooperation in coordination with the foreign ministry's African affairs department. The visit included a tour of the ministry's crisis management center in the New Administrative Capital, featuring presentations on advanced technologies to support decision-making and improve healthcare efficiency. The delegation also toured the New Capital Hospital to assess its medical services and digital applications designed to enhance patient care.

According to State Information Service Egypt, spokesman for the Health Ministry Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said the Namibian delegation praised Egypt's progress in digital health initiatives, describing the country's experience as a leading model in Africa for boosting modern technology to develop healthcare services. The delegation was accompanied by officials from the ministry's international health relations and digital transformation departments.
