Damietta: Damietta Port received 13 vessels and recorded the departure of nine ships over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of vessels at the port to 32.According to State Information Service Egypt, the port handled 15,217 tons of export cargo, including beet pulp feed, gypsum, bagged cement, urea, and other goods. Imports reached 20,515 tons, consisting of scrap metal, beech wood, steel, rice, and plywood. Container traffic included 550 export containers, 242 import containers, and 3,912 transit containers.The port's public grain silos contained 84,641 tons of wheat, while private storage facilities held 44,430 tons. Truck traffic totaled 2,798 movements during the reporting period.Meanwhile, the GALLIPOLI SEAWAYS Ro-Ro vessel departed for Trieste, Italy, carrying 3,704 tons of cargo, including agricultural products, textiles, garments, electrical cables, automotive parts, buses, machinery, and industrial equipment. The cargo was bound for several European destinations, including Italy, Germ , the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, France, Austria, Sweden, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, and Hungary, while transit shipments were destined for the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Bahrain.
