Cairo: Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdel Latif and Director of the Egyptian Military Academy Mohamed Salah al Turki witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol with Harvard University's Graduate School of Education. This agreement, represented by its Professional Education sector, initiates a specialized training program titled 'Empowering School Leaders in Egypt: Strengthening School Capabilities and Building Strategic Leadership' at the Military Academy.According to State Information Service Egypt, the protocol emphasizes the Ministry's commitment to expand collaboration with prominent international educational institutions, aiming to leverage their expertise in developing educational leaders. This initiative is part of efforts to enhance institutional performance in schools, improve the quality of education, and support the development of a modern education system that aligns with global standards.The program is set to train approximately 220 principals and school leaders from public schools across Egypt's governorates. In collaboration with Harvard University, this comprehensive initiative at the Military Academy will combine online learning with in-person training under the guidance of faculty members from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.The training program focuses on enhancing participants' leadership and administrative skills, equipping them to drive change in their schools using the latest global models in educational leadership.
