Cairo: Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk announced Egypt's intention to deepen its partnership with Harvard University, aiming to enhance investment in young leadership and boost their global competitiveness. The initiative focuses on building and developing human capabilities to create efficient and influential cadres that support national development and ensure economic competitiveness.According to State Information Service Egypt, Minister Kouchouk emphasized Egypt's commitment to expanding access to distinguished opportunities for master's and postgraduate degrees as part of this partnership. The collaboration aims to leverage research initiatives in critical areas such as artificial intelligence, climate change, and quantum sciences to bolster national development efforts.Kouchouk highlighted the importance of student scholarships in ensuring graduates' engagement in public service and their support of state institutions with global expertise. He assured that the government provides comprehensive suppor t to students and is proactive in resolving any challenges they encounter during their studies.The minister further explained that a fellowship fund, established in cooperation with Harvard, facilitates the financing of approximately 10 scholarships annually for Egyptian students pursuing postgraduate research degrees. This initiative underlines Egypt's dedication to fostering academic excellence and global collaboration.
