Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty departed for N'Djamena on Thursday, August 6, 2026, to head the Egyptian delegation at the fourth session of the Egypt-Chad Joint Committee, with broad ministerial participation from both countries.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the meetings come within the framework of efforts to advance bilateral relations and enhance cooperation in various political, economic, trade, and investment fields. During the visit, Abdelatty is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with senior Chadian officials to discuss ways of strengthening bilateral ties and exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
