Cairo: Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud on the sidelines of the Four Regional Parties' Meeting hosted by Cairo.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting took place as part of ongoing consultations and coordination between the two countries to strengthen bilateral relations and exchange views on regional developments of mutual interest.
The two ministers reviewed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation across various fields. They praised the continued momentum in Egyptian-Saudi relations and the close coordination between the two countries, reaffirming their shared commitment to further developing cooperation that serves the common interests of both nations and their peoples.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on a number of regional issues and crises, particularly developments in the Palestinian territories, Sudan, Libya, Syria, and Lebanon, as well as recent developments regarding the Iranian file and the situations in the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa.
Both ministers emphasized the importance of maintaining close coordination and consultations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia on various regional developments.
