Cairo: Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi inspected the Badr El-Din oil fields in Egypt's Western Desert on Sunday, June 21, 2026, to oversee ongoing operations and evaluate current and future strategies for boosting crude oil and natural gas production rates.According to State Information Service Egypt, during his visit, the Minister reviewed the progress at the production sites and assessed the implementation status of investment programs, as well as drilling and field development plans. Additionally, he examined the outcomes of projects aimed at maximizing the utilization of petroleum resources and enhancing production efficiency.
