Accra:President Abdel Fattah El Sisi co-chaired a summit of the founding states of the African Union Development Agency-NEPAD (AUDA-NEPAD) with Angolan President Joo Louren§o, who chairs the Agency's Heads of State and Government Orientation Committee.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the summit included participation from the heads and representatives of the agency's founding states, which are Egypt, Algeria, Nigeria, Senegal, and South Africa. Additionally, the President of Burundi attended in his role as the current chairperson of the African Union.
Representatives from the African Union Commission and the AUDA-NEPAD Chief Executive Officer were also present at the summit.
