New york: Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) Walid Gamal El-Din, along with his delegation, has embarked on a strategic tour in the United States aiming to attract significant investments in the industrial and service sectors within the SCZONE. The mission involved high-profile meetings with leading institutions in advanced technology, artificial intelligence, energy, infrastructure, and water treatment.According to State Information Service Egypt, Gamal El-Din engaged with ServiceNow representatives to discuss advancements in digital transformation and operational system development for ports and industrial zones, exploring potential improvements in services for SCZONE investors. Additionally, discussions with Rivian Automotive centered on electric vehicle manufacturing collaboration and enhancing US companies' access to regional markets via the SCZONE.The SCZONE Chairman also attended a roundtable by the American Association of Exporters and Importers (AAEI), mee ting with 26 companies from sectors such as chemicals, automotive, and medical technologies. Gamal El-Din emphasized the SCZONE's role as an integrated platform for manufacturing and logistics, highlighting available incentives and opportunities.In energy sector discussions, Gamal El-Din met with Mark Menezes, CEO of the US Energy Association (USEA), to review SCZONE's position as a hub for green industries and renewable energy.
