Cairo: Ambassador Alaa Youssef, Chairman of the Board of the State Information Service (SIS), attended the closing ceremony of the field training program for students of the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University, held at the SIS. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Yumna Safwat, Dean of the Faculty, along with a number of SIS officials and officials from the General Administration for Training, as well as faculty members and students participating in the program.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Ambassador Alaa Youssef expressed his pleasure at meeting the students of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, emphasizing the SIS's commitment to supporting and preparing students by providing them with practical training opportunities that help hone their skills and bridge the gap between academic study, real-world practice, and the demands of the job market. He highlighted the importance of equipping young people, particularly students specializing in languages, media, and communication, with the skills and experience needed to keep pace with rapid developments in the fields of translation, media, and international communication, and to gain firsthand insight into the nature of work within state institutions.

He affirmed that young people represent a key pillar in building Egypt's future and enhancing its ability to communicate with the world. Ambassador Alaa Youssef stressed that the SIS places great importance on cooperation with Egyptian universities, considering it an important avenue for investing in young talent and preparing new generations capable of shouldering their professional and national responsibilities. He noted that practical training serves as an important link between academic knowledge and its practical application.

For her part, Dr. Yumna Safwat expressed her appreciation for cooperation with the SIS, commending the training program for providing students with practical experience and diverse knowledge, as well as giving them an opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the nature of work at the SIS and its role in translation, communication, and promoting Egypt both domestically and internationally. The Dean of the Faculty stressed the importance of continuing cooperation between the two sides in a manner that contributes to expanding practical training and professional development opportunities for students and preparing graduates with the skills necessary to compete in the job market.

The meeting also featured an open dialogue between Ambassador Alaa Youssef and the students of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, addressing a number of topics related to the training program, the importance of developing their language and media skills, and making the most of practical training opportunities to build their experience and prepare them for their professional careers. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Ambassador Alaa Youssef and Dr. Yumna Safwat presented certificates of completion of the training program to the participating students in recognition of their efforts and participation in the program's activities, wishing them continued success in their academic and professional careers.
