Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly emphasized the urgent need to finalize preparations for the second phase of the "Decent Life" presidential initiative, following President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives. The initiative aims to optimize the use of financial resources and enhance service delivery to citizens.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the remarks were made during a meeting attended by Ahmed Abdel Azim, the Director of Dar Al-Handasah Bureau, who serves as the project's consultant, alongside several bureau officials. Madbouly highlighted the importance of overcoming challenges faced during the first phase to speed up development projects and increase the use of locally manufactured components.
During the meeting, Abdel Azim presented several proposed mechanisms for implementing the second phase, focusing on swift project execution while incorporating lessons learned from the first phase. The Prime Minister received updates on the progress of the first phase, with Abdel Azim reporting that 826 villages have been completed, including 31 villages finalized between June 9 and July 5.
Additionally, it was noted that 90 projects have been completed, and 120 others handed over across various sectors in the same timeframe. Coordination efforts are ongoing to expedite the completion and operationalization of the remaining projects.
