New alamein city: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly convened a meeting at the government headquarters in New Alamein City to assess the progress of legalising lands incorporated into several new cities. The agenda also covered updates on various residential unit offerings, land allocations, and ongoing projects. The meeting saw participation from Engineer Sherif El-Shorbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Dr. Walid Abbas, First Deputy Head of the New Urban Communities Authority, and Engineer Amin Ghoneim, Deputy Head of the New Urban Communities Authority for Development and Urban Development.According to State Information Service Egypt, the Prime Minister highlighted the critical nature of legalising added lands to ensure resource preservation and regularise the status of citizens in these areas. This initiative aims to promote legal and community stability while fostering integrated and strategically planned urban communities. The government is committed to sequentially delivering plo ts of land with regularised status.The Minister of Housing reported that the legalisation process is advancing steadily, with ongoing efforts to review applications and resolve processed cases. There is a concerted effort to expedite the completion of files related to the legal status of citizens and entities residing on these lands. This initiative is crucial for developing new urban communities that will meet the future needs of citizens.Engineer Sherif El-Shorbiny elaborated on the Ministry of Housing's monitoring of national projects designed to offer suitable residential units and enhance facilities and services in new cities. These efforts align with the objectives of the new republic and directives from the political leadership to support housing and urban development nationwide.The minister presented a summary of ongoing residential and land projects catering to various societal segments. Under the "Housing for All Egyptians" initiative, numerous residential projects are being offered sequential ly, targeting low-income individuals with support from the social housing programme. Middle-income individuals are provided with units matching their income levels, along with payment facilities. Units for the more financially capable are sold at market prices, with proceeds used to subsidise deserving segments, reflecting the ministry's commitment to achieving social justice.Additionally, the Minister of Housing addressed the status of lands adjacent to major roads and axes, highlighting ongoing projects like the expansion of the 26th of July Axis. This involves widening the existing road beneath the monorail on the 26th of July Axis, from its intersection with the Cairo/Alexandria Desert Road to the Oasis Road intersection, encompassing areas within 6th of October City and Sheikh Zayed City.
