Cairo: Egypt strongly condemned on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, the twin bombings that struck Damascus on Tuesday, leaving a number of people injured.

According to State Information Service Egypt, in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates, Egypt reaffirmed its total rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism, stressing the need to confront any acts that undermine the security and stability of Syria.

Egypt also wished a speedy recovery to all those injured, reaffirming its solidarity with Syria in confronting any threats to its security and stability.
