Dhaka:Egypt Forum 2026 will focus on enhancing the transition from in-kind subsidies to cash support, with an emphasis on linking subsidy values to inflation and price changes to safeguard beneficiaries' purchasing power, announced Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouly highlighted these initiatives as part of efforts to promote social justice and grant citizens the freedom to choose goods based on their actual needs. These comments were made during a meeting to discuss the agenda for a session titled 'A More Effective Social Protection System.'
