Luxor: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli began on Saturday a field tour in Luxor governorate to inspect a number of projects under the first phase of the presidential Hayah Karima 'Decent Life' initiative in the Armant district. During his tour, Madbouli emphasized the government's commitment to closely monitor initiative projects to ensure their timely completion and effective operation, especially in Upper Egypt.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Luxor Governor Abdel Motaleb Emara briefed the prime minister on the progress of the first-phase projects in Armant and Esna, which encompass 34 villages. Emara reported that 670 out of 778 planned projects have been completed, with the remaining works nearing completion. The projects include essential infrastructure such as sanitation networks, drinking water facilities, electricity networks, roads, bridges, schools, youth centers, ambulance units, and government and agricultural service complexes.
In Armant, the prime minister inspected several key sites including a sanitation pumping station, a government services complex in Al-Rayanah village, and a family and child development center. These inspections are part of the government's broader effort to ensure that the initiative successfully improves daily services for citizens and achieves balanced development across different regions.
