Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli held a meeting at the government's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) to review the structural plan and development vision for the "West Ras El-Hekma" area Monday. The meeting was attended by Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Sherif el Sherbiny and other senior state officials.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Sherbiny outlined the strategic importance of developing the "West Ras El-Hekma" area to become an integrated, sustainable touristic city that combines the charm of nature with smart planning for a sustainable future. The housing minister pointed out that the project's location on Egypt's North Coast represents an extension of the international "Ras El-Hekma" project and provides many important activities.
Sherbiny spotlighted the nature of the site and said it is ideal for development. He presented the site's assets and features, planning decisions, and the proposed vision and activities. He noted that the proposed vision for the West "Ras El-Hekma" area is to be a sustainable coastal touristic destination combining beach beauty with touristic, service, productive activities, and promising investment opportunities in a secure green environment.
Sherbiny highlighted the proposed blueprint, which encompasses touristic, cultural, heritage, and recreational dimensions and includes residential, services, industrial, and logistical projects.
