Cairo: Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah El-Din Mustafa welcomed Serbian Prime Minister Juro Matsut and his delegation to discuss strategies for enhancing collaboration between military production entities in Egypt and Serbia. The discussions focused on expanding joint efforts in military manufacturing and identifying new opportunities for cooperation.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the Minister emphasized the Ministry's commitment to fostering partnerships with both local and international companies across various sectors. This approach aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise and the localization of advanced manufacturing technologies within the Ministry's affiliated companies and units. The meeting was held at the Abu Zaabal Specialized Industries Company, also known as Military Factory 300.
During the discussions, the Minister presented an overview of the capabilities and achievements of the military production companies and units, which are involved in both military and civilian manufacturing. The Ministry comprises 15 industrial companies, a maintenance company, an information systems company, a center for scientific and technological excellence, a construction company, and a training sector. These resources position the Ministry as a crucial element of national industry, supported by significant technological, manufacturing, and technical expertise and skilled personnel.
The visit also included a tour of the military products exhibition at Abu Zaabal Specialized Industries Company, a key player in Egypt's defense industry. The delegation inspected a production line dedicated to small and medium-sized ammunition, underscoring the company's role in supporting the nation's defense capabilities.
