Doha: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty and his Norwegian counterpart Espen Barth Eide emphasized the importance of further strengthening political and economic relations between the two countries, as well as supporting collaboration in renewable energy and investment.

According to State Information Service Egypt, this came during a meeting between the two ministers on Saturday, December 6, 2025, on the sidelines of the Doha Forum, currently in session in the Qatari capital.

The two ministers also discussed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip during their meeting.
