Cairo: Egypt's Ministerial Group for Entrepreneurship has officially announced the launch of the country's first "Startup Charter." This significant development comes after more than a year of collaborative efforts and coordination among national entities engaged in entrepreneurship, the startup ecosystem, investors, members of Parliament, and other relevant authorities.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the "Startup Charter" is set to be unveiled at the upcoming RiseUp Summit. The event will see the participation of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, and Chairperson of the Ministerial Group for Entrepreneurship Rania el Mashat. Other ministers from the group, as well as representatives from startups, entrepreneurs, and investors, are also expected to be present. The charter aims to provide a structured framework to support and nurture the startup environment in Egypt.
