ECS Organizes Egyptian Participation in Fruit Logistica 2026

Berlin: The Egyptian Commercial Service in Berlin, led by Dr. Maha Zakaria and her Deputy Moustafa Hassan, has organized Egypt's participation in Fruit Logistica 2026. The event is being held in Berlin, Germany, from February 4 to 6, 2026.

According to State Information Service Egypt, this initiative was coordinated with the Egyptian General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences, resulting in the participation of 99 Egyptian companies that export agricultural crops. Fruit Logistica is recognized as one of the leading international exhibitions focusing on the agricultural and fresh produce supply chains.

The participation reflects the state's strategic vision and a commitment to boosting national exports while enhancing the competitiveness of Egyptian products in global markets. The Egyptian pavilion was inaugurated by Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Mr. Alaa Farouk, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Germany Ambassador Dr. Mohamed El-Badry, and other officials and representatives from Egyptian and international companies, along with the Authority's delegation responsible for organizing and overseeing the event.

Head of the Egyptian Commercial Service, Dr. Abdel-Aziz El-Sheriff, highlighted the significance of Egypt's involvement in Fruit Logistica this year. He stated that the goal is to enhance the competitiveness of Egypt's agricultural exports, ensure adherence to international quality and food safety standards, and build trust in the Egyptian agricultural brand. El-Sheriff also noted an increase in Egypt's fruit and vegetable exports to the German markets, which reached 161 million Euros from January to October 2025, marking a 25.7% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
