Cairo: The foreign ministers of Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, the UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia strongly condemned remarks made by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz concerning the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.According to State Information Service Egypt, the ministers highlighted that the remarks and proposals, which included plans and mechanisms aimed at forcibly removing Palestinians from their land, constituted a violation of international law and posed a threat to the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. They firmly rejected any attempts or plans to displace Palestinians, whether within or outside the occupied Palestinian territories. They warned of the potential consequences of turning such calls for forced displacement into policy or measures aimed at uprooting Palestinians from their land. The ministers expressed that these Israeli practices would challenge international efforts to achieve peace, parti cularly US President Donald Trump's comprehensive plan to end the conflict in Gaza, which includes rejecting forced displacement. They cautioned that such measures could undermine prospects for regional stability. They emphasized that the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the occupied Palestinian territory and that the territorial unity of the Palestinian territories, including the West Bank and Al Quds (occupied East Jerusalem), should be maintained. The ministers asserted that the only path to a just and lasting peace is the implementation of a two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the borders of June 4, 1967, with Al-Quds as its capital. The ministers called on the international community, mainly the United Nations Security Council, to oppose attempts to impose a new demographic or geographic reality in the occupied Palestinian territories. They reaffirmed their support for the Palestinian people's steadfastness on their land, rejecting efforts to undermine th eir legitimate rights.
