PM: State Keen to Maximize Investment Value of New Alamein Projects

Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, stressed the state's focus on maximizing the added value of comprehensive development projects in New Alamein City, aiming to turn the area into a year-round investment, tourism and urban destination. At a meeting to review a major project in the city, Madbouly said the government was working to attract domestic and foreign investment and create thousands of jobs while capitalizing on the unique potential of the North Coast.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting reviewed the project's master plan and coordination among the housing ministry, the Armed Forces Engineering Authority and other agencies. Officials also presented designs incorporating smart technologies and sustainability standards, as well as infrastructure, landscaping and logistical requirements to ensure high-quality implementation.

The focus on New Alamein City is part of a broader strategy to enhance its appeal as both a tourist destination and an urban hub. The government is aiming to leverage the area's strategic location and natural beauty to attract investments that could boost economic growth and employment opportunities in the region.
