Cairo: Minister of Labor Hassan Raddad affirmed on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, Egypt's firm and longstanding support for the Palestinian Cause and the Palestinian people's legitimate rights, stressing that Egypt will continue providing political, humanitarian, and development support. He made the remarks during a meeting with Palestinian Minister of Labor Inas Dahdah on the sidelines of the 52nd Arab Labor Conference in Cairo.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the two sides discussed strengthening cooperation between their ministries, including vocational training, employment programs, and the exchange of expertise and skilled personnel. Raddad said Egypt views cooperation with Palestine as a genuine partnership aimed at capacity-building and sustainable solutions, emphasizing that support for employment and social protection contributes to strengthening Palestinian resilience.

Dahdah expressed her deep appreciation for Egypt's supportive position toward the Palestinian Cause, extending her greetings to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Egyptian people and government, and all sectors that continue to support the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people. She highlighted the historic ties between the two peoples and Egypt's role in promoting Arab solidarity.

She said Palestine seeks to move from emergency response toward sustainable solutions, particularly in vocational training and employment, while becoming a partner in developing solutions rather than solely a recipient of aid. The two sides agreed to continue coordination and expand the exchange of expertise in labor, employment, training, and social protection, in support of the Palestinian people.
