According to State Information Service Egypt, the Prime Minister emphasized the government's commitment to developing the agricultural fertilizer distribution system to ensure that support reaches deserving farmers and prevents leakage to unintended recipients. Mohamed El-Homsani, the official spokesperson for the Prime Minister's office, stated that the meeting reviewed the Ministry of Agriculture's collaboration with relevant authorities to govern agricultural holdings through a farmer card system. The governance of fertilizer distribution ensures that fertilizers reach cooperatives from factories and monitors the distribution process to prevent manipulation or smuggling.

The spokesperson highlighted the efforts of ministries and relevant authorities in enhancing digital transformation and automating services to improve service quality for citizens. He pointed to the role of the fertilizer distribution governance system in enhancing control and oversight, ensuring timely support delivery to entitled recipients. The system includes tracking fertilizer movement from factories to storage centres and agricultural cooperatives, ultimately reaching farmers.

El-Homsani confirmed that agricultural fertilizers are available within cooperative societies in all villages, with the distribution process proceeding regularly according to the smart farmer card system. There is sufficient stock available for distribution at the stores of cooperatives and the Egyptian Company for Agricultural and Rural Development at the Agricultural Bank.

Fertilizers are being distributed in batches to cover the needs of all farmers in a balanced manner, aligning with the requirements of the agricultural sector.
