Cairo: Banque Misr (BM) has entered into a cooperation agreement with the International Labor Organization (ILO) aimed at bolstering the country's efforts to expand financial inclusion and combat child labor.According to State Information Service Egypt, the agreement was formalized with signatures from Hend Fahmy, Head of Financial Inclusion and Mortgage at Banque Misr, and Eric Oechslin, Director of the ILO Office in Egypt. The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both organizations, as well as representatives from the Italian and Slovenian embassies.The initiative is designed to benefit 5,000 individuals in the regions of Cairo, Assiut, Gharbia, and Qalyubia. The targeted beneficiaries include women participating in the 'Women Moving Forward' program and families of children currently engaged in labor.
