PM Madbouli Conducts Site Visit to Shibin El Qanater Central Hospital Project

Abu dhabi: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli emphasized the government's prioritization of education, healthcare, and citizen services during his inspection of the Shibin El Qanater Central Hospital project. This visit marked the conclusion of his tour of projects under the "Decent Life" initiative in the villages of the Shibin El-Qanater district.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouli was accompanied by several key officials, including Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, and other high-ranking government representatives. Abdel Ghaffar presented an overview of the health services provided to the residents of Qalyubia Governorate, highlighting that a total of 7,849,897 medical services were offered from January to November 2025 as part of the state's efforts to achieve Egypt Vision 2030.

The services rendered by hospitals included 2,774,571 offerings in areas such as emergency care, outpatient clinics, intensive care, dialysis, and physical therapy. Additionally, evening clinics, remote diagnostics, and medical caravans delivered tens of thousands of services to support the healthcare needs of remote communities.

Development efforts have led to significant upgrades across multiple hospitals, with the introduction of new specialties and enhancements in existing medical facilities. These improvements are part of a broader initiative to boost the quality and reach of healthcare services throughout the governorate.

The governor of Qalyubia highlighted that the hospital project is the largest health project under the "Decent Life" initiative in the governorate, representing a major advancement in medical service delivery in the region. The project aims to meet international standards and reduce pressure on other healthcare facilities.

Sherif Moustafa, Assistant Minister of Health and Population for National Projects, elaborated on the comprehensive nature of the project, which spans 20,000 m² and will include extensive medical and non-medical facilities. The main hospital building will house various departments, including surgical and therapeutic units, and will be equipped with advanced medical technology.

Prime Minister Madbouli, during his visit, reviewed the progress and components of the project, including the main hospital, plasma and blood bank, and additional facilities such as the Nursing School and Doctors' Residence. He expressed satisfaction with the progress and emphasized the importance of adhering to the project timeline and maintaining high standards of quality.

The prime minister praised the strides made in the project, recognizing it as a major accomplishment under the presidential 'Decent Life' program and underscoring its significance in enhancing healthcare infrastructure in the region.
