Accra:Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly emphasized that the "Egypt Forum 2026" will be dedicated to the citizen, highlighting that the Egyptian citizen is the "hero of the story." He noted that citizens have shared the burden of economic and structural reforms over the past fifteen years.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouly made these remarks during the opening session of the forum, attended by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. The event, under the slogan "A Look at Today... A Vision for Tomorrow," aims to engage various segments of Egyptian society in dialogue about the country's present and future.
The forum's purpose is to review achievements and discuss challenges, with the government listening and responding to citizen concerns. This approach was informed by public opinion surveys and listening sessions that gathered input from citizens, youth, and various sectors.
Madbouly highlighted the forum's themes, which include human development, integrated development and quality of life, social protection, and economic transformation. Each theme will be explored through plenary sessions and workshops, addressing key issues such as education, healthcare, digital transformation, and economic growth.
The forum seeks to establish national priorities and actionable solutions, aiming to improve living conditions in line with current realities. Madbouly concluded by emphasizing the importance of sincere effort from every citizen in building the nation.
