Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli announced the government's commitment to fully support Blumberg Grain in accelerating the implementation of their planned projects in Egypt. This assurance was given during a meeting with Philip Blumberg, Chairman and CEO of Blumberg Partners, and his delegation at the government headquarters in the new administrative capital.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Prime Minister Madbouli welcomed Philip Blumberg and acknowledged the company's previous successful collaboration with Egypt, notably the 2014 wheat-storage project that significantly reduced grain losses. The prime minister emphasized Egypt's focus on establishing long-term partnerships that promote investment, technology transfer, and local manufacturing. He highlighted ongoing reforms aimed at enhancing private-sector involvement and attracting more foreign investment, noting that Blumberg Grain's fields of expertise align with Egypt's national priorities in food security, agriculture, logistics, and pharmaceuticals.
Philip Blumberg expressed his admiration for Egypt's development strides and revealed plans to expand the company's investments in the country. These plans include the development of modern wheat silos, pharmaceutical-storage systems, and advanced agricultural projects. Additionally, Blumberg Grain is investigating opportunities to localize the manufacturing of silo components and logistics equipment, aiming to position Egypt as a regional export hub. Blumberg stated his intention to return with a delegation in February for further detailed discussions with government agencies.
