President Aoun's upcoming visit to Egypt aims to discuss a range of topics, including bilateral relations, regional developments, and enhanced coordination with President El-Sisi. Key discussions will involve benefiting from Egypt's expertise in sectors such as gas, electricity, and reconstruction, as well as support for the Lebanese army.

On the subject of Syria, Aoun welcomed the lifting of sanctions, crediting Saudi diplomatic efforts, and noted that revitalizing Syria's economy would positively impact Lebanon. He discussed efforts to facilitate the return of Syrian refugees and the ongoing bilateral border demarcation efforts.

Aoun revealed ongoing communication with Gulf states, emphasizing the importance of economic reform, security, and stability for their return. He noted positive responses from the UAE and Qatar, with expectations of Saudi investment interest following.

Addressing issues with Israel, Aoun criticized Israel for not honoring the ceasefire agreement and highlighted ongoing US mediation efforts for land border talks. Reflecting on the Beirut port explosion, Aoun recounted his personal loss and emphasized accountability and the need for reconstruction. He mentioned ongoing talks with the World Bank to finance infrastructure reconstruction efforts.

President Aoun concluded by emphasizing Lebanon's resilience and the importance of national stability, security, and economic reform. He expressed gratitude to Egypt and the Arab world, calling for collective Arab strength through unity.
