Cairo: A UAE humanitarian aid plane arrived at El Arish International Airport on Sunday, July 19, 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, according to an official airport source.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the aid plane is carrying 100 metric tons of medicines, clothing, and infant formula for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. This shipment is part of the UAE's "Operation Chivalrous Knight 3," a dedicated humanitarian initiative launched to support the Palestinian people during the ongoing crisis.
The cargo was unloaded and transported by trucks to logistics warehouses in El Arish ahead of its delivery into the Gaza Strip in coordination with the Egyptian Red Crescent, the official added.
Since the start of the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip, more than 1,100 aid flights have arrived at El Arish International Airport carrying relief supplies from Arab and foreign countries, as well as regional and international organizations.
The flights have delivered more than 30,000 metric tons of humanitarian aid and relief supplies for Gaza, provided by 60 Arab and foreign countries and regional and international organizations.
