Cairo: The entry of humanitarian aid and fuel trucks into the Gaza Strip resumed on Sunday, July 19, 2026, through the Karm Abu Salem crossing after operations were suspended on Friday and Saturday due to the weekend.According to State Information Service Egypt, the 237th convoy of humanitarian and relief aid trucks departed from the vicinity of the Rafah land crossing en route to the Karm Abu Salem crossing, south of the city of Rafah. The Egyptian Red Crescent in North Sinai confirmed that these aid trucks are part of the "Zad El Ezza... From Egypt to Gaza" convoy.The organization specified that the trucks are transporting essential humanitarian and relief supplies, including meat, food baskets, flour, medical supplies, relief materials, petroleum products, and fuel. The Egyptian Red Crescent has maintained a continuous presence along the border since the outbreak of the crisis. Notably, the Rafah crossing has never been closed from the Egyptian side, while the organization has remained on high alert at all of its logistics centers. The Egyptian Red Crescent has consistently facilitated the delivery of humanitarian and relief assistance with support from over 65,000 volunteers.
