Cairo: A high-level delegation from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, alongside representatives from the Egyptian Tourism Federation and the Chamber of Travel and Tourism Companies and Agencies, visited El Nasr Automotive Manufacturing Company to examine the latest advancements in locally manufactured vehicles and tourist buses.
According to State Information Service Egypt, this visit was aimed at showcasing El Nasr's potential to enhance the tourism transport system through its advanced manufacturing capabilities.
The delegation, which included members of the private tourist transport sector from leading companies in the Egyptian market, was given a comprehensive tour of El Nasr's factories. They were introduced to the company's range of modern vehicle models, such as the 'Nasr Sky' tourist bus and the 'Nasr Star' minibus, which boast significant local content ratios of 63.5 percent and over 70 percent, respectively. The company also presented its upcoming electric bus, the 'Nasr EV,' signaling a strategic move towards sustainable transportation solutions.
Throughout the visit, El Nasr executives and officials showcased the various stages of manufacturing and production, as well as the technical and engineering departments, underscoring the technological advancements achieved by the company. The delegation noted the quality and competitiveness of El Nasr's vehicles, which are already serving transport and tourism companies, as well as governmental and institutional entities, efficiently across Cairo and other governorates.
In discussions of potential future cooperation, the delegation emphasized the importance of forming strategic partnerships with El Nasr to bolster the tourism transport sector and support the national industrial development agenda. This initiative aligns with the state's objectives to localize industry and enhance reliance on domestically produced goods.
