Sudanese Student Achieves Top Global Rank in Secondary School Exams

Cairo:Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty has extended his congratulations to Sudanese student Toqa El Nour Mohamed El Nour for achieving the highest worldwide ranking in the Sudanese secondary school certificate exams.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty contacted Toqa and her family to praise her outstanding accomplishment. The exams took place in Egypt in April 2026 amidst challenging circumstances in Sudan.

The minister also emphasized Egypt's dedication to supporting Sudanese students by facilitating the organization of the exams. He expressed hopes for Toqa's continued academic success and her potential contributions to Sudan's development and prosperity.

In April, approximately 40,000 Sudanese students in Egypt participated in the secondary school certificate exams. Additionally, about 45,000 students took part in preparatory and primary school exams held in May 2026.
