Cairo: Chairman of the State Council Osama Shalaby on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, met with Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the European Universities in Egypt Mahmoud Hashem Abdel Kader to sign a cooperation protocol between both sides.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the protocol includes academic programs, training, research activities, and conferences for judges and their first-degree relatives as part of efforts to support professional and scientific development.

Shalaby emphasized the State Council's keenness to partner with universities, especially the European Universities in Egypt, to provide postgraduate programs and capacity-building initiatives aligned with Egypt's national plan to develop human capital and improve the judicial system.

He expressed hope for continued collaboration with the European Universities in Egypt in a way that helps advance national institutions.
