Cairo: The Ministry of Youth and Sports has officially refuted claims that it decided to postpone the general assemblies of sports clubs for a year. This clarification comes amid circulating media reports suggesting otherwise. According to State Information Service Egypt, the ministry issued a statement asserting that no such decision has been made. It emphasized the importance for all sports bodies to comply with existing laws and regulations. The ministry assured that any executive decisions related to the amended law would be communicated in due course. Furthermore, the ministry urged media outlets to refer only to its official spokesperson for accurate information.
