Cairo: German Ambassador in Cairo Jrgen Schulz emphasized Berlin's continued support for the development of technical education in Egypt through exchanging expertise, providing teacher training programs, and enhancing students' opportunities in both local and international labor markets.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the ambassador made the remarks in a statement by the Embassy of Germany in Cairo on "Facebook" following talks with Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdel Latif. Schulz highlighted that this partnership marks a significant milestone in Egyptian-German relations and underscores their shared commitment to delivering high-quality education that aligns with future demands.

The statement further noted that both parties discussed the implementation steps for launching the first Egyptian-German school starting from the next school year, with plans to eventually expand to 100 schools.
