Cairo: Minister of Youth and Sports Gohar Nabil extended his congratulations to the Egyptian Modern Pentathlon Federation's Board of Directors, led by Sherif El Erian, as well as the national team's athletes for their remarkable achievements at the Modern Pentathlon World Championships in China.According to State Information Service Egypt, the Egyptian athletes secured an impressive haul of four medals, including three silver and one bronze. Nabil specifically praised the performance of rising star Farida Khalil, who captured a silver medal in the women's individual event. Khalil, along with teammates Jana Attia and Janna El Gendy, also contributed to the women's team securing silver in the team event.The Minister also recognized the achievements of the men's team members, Moataz Mohamed, Mohannad Shaaban, and Mohamed El Ashqar, for their silver medal in the team event. Additionally, Zeina Amer and Jana Attia were commended for their performance in securing bronze in the women's relay event.Nabil lauded the Egyptian Modern Pentathlon Federation's efforts in supporting the athletes, noting that such efforts have played a crucial role in establishing Egypt as a leading nation in the sport on the international stage.
