According to State Information Service Egypt, the celebration was attended by the Governor of the Red Sea, Dr. Walid El-Barqy, the Head of the Internal Media Sector, Major General Dr. Tamer Shams El-Din, the Director of the Hurghada Media Center, journalist Salah Obeid, and various executive and community leaders in the governorate, alongside public figures, intellectuals, and media professionals.
The event aimed to honor moments of national unity that reshaped Egyptian history and to highlight the country's recent developmental achievements. During the ceremony, Major General Dr. Tamer Shams El-Din remarked that the celebrations coincide with a period where Egypt is experiencing the results of its "New Republic."
Dr. Tamer Shams El-Din emphasized the public's collective resolve, noting that the June 30 Revolution was a pure expression of popular will, allowing Egyptians to reclaim their national identity and correct the state's trajectory. He also highlighted significant national projects, presidential initiatives, and successes at regional and international levels.
In his address, Governor Dr. Walid Al-Barqi congratulated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the political leadership, armed forces, police officers, and Egyptian citizens on this national anniversary. Dr. Al-Barqi also welcomed all attendees and affirmed that the anniversary of the June 30 Revolution remains a landmark in modern Egyptian history and a pivotal point towards stability, construction, and development.
Dr. Al-Barqi noted that the revolution led Egyptians towards progress, focusing on security and embodying the people's will, national awareness, and commitment to their nation's identity and institutions.
The celebration included a documentary screening about the June 30 Revolution, showcasing the challenging days leading up to the event, the popular uprising in squares, and artistic and theatrical performances. On the celebration's sidelines, the governor and the head of the Internal Media Sector inaugurated an art exhibition titled "Colors from the Land of Freedom," featuring distinguished paintings.
At the ceremony's conclusion, participants praised the State Information Service's role as the state's official voice. They acknowledged its ongoing efforts to refute rumors and convey accurate news about Egypt's development, reinforcing the principles of the June 30 Revolution in building sustainable national awareness.
