Qatar Envoy Promotes Enhanced Healthcare Collaboration with Egypt During Hospital Visit

Cairo: Qatar's ambassador to Egypt, Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Thani, emphasized the need for enhanced cooperation and exchange of expertise between Egyptian and Qatari health and humanitarian institutions. His call to action aims to boost treatment and rehabilitation efforts for burn victims.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the ambassador's remarks were made during an official visit to Ahl Masr Hospital for Burns, where he was welcomed by Heba El Sewedy, the founder and chairwoman of the board of trustees of Ahl Masr Foundation and Hospital. The envoy highlighted the hospital as a pioneering model that offers more than just medical treatment, providing comprehensive care and hope to patients during their recovery process.

During the visit, the ambassador praised the professionalism and dedication of the hospital's medical and administrative teams in caring for burn patients. He received a detailed briefing on the hospital's operations, including treatment and rehabilitation programs, and patient recovery stories that demonstrate the hospital's impact on improving patients' quality of life and reintegration into society.

The visit underscored efforts to support the humanitarian and medical services provided by Ahl Masr Hospital and reflects the interest of diplomatic missions in the hospital's role in advancing burn treatment and rehabilitation in Egypt and the region. The ambassador toured various hospital facilities, including intensive care units and psychological support centers, reviewing the advanced medical technologies and integrated care model employed by the hospital.
