Prime Minister Madbouly Highlights Interest in Egypt Forum 2026 Website

New Alamein:Mostafa Madbouly praised the significant public interest in the Egypt Forum 2026 website during a Cabinet meeting held at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the website, launched earlier this month, serves as an interactive platform for presenting the forum's agenda and allows citizens, experts, and specialists to submit their views and proposals on various issues. Madbouly emphasized the government's commitment to considering these contributions and translating them into viable proposals to enhance public services and address citizens' needs and aspirations.

The meeting also involved a review of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's recent activities, including his Asian tour to South Korea, Malaysia, and Indonesia, and his participation in events focused on strengthening African cooperation. Notably, President El-Sisi opened the first Alamein-Africa Business Forum, co-chaired the AUDA-NEPAD founding states summit, and took part in the African Union's eighth Mid-Year Coordination Meeting, all of which took place in New Alamein.

Furthermore, Madbouly mentioned a consultative summit hosted by President El-Sisi with leaders from Eritrea, Somalia, and Sudan, aimed at discussing coordination among the four countries and developments in the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea. He reiterated Egypt's dedication to fostering African cooperation while respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states, supporting national institutions, opposing external interference, and promoting peaceful dispute resolution.

Preparations for the Egypt Forum 2026, scheduled from October 19 to 24, are ongoing, aligning with presidential directives. The forum will provide a platform for addressing public concerns, discussing priority issues, and outlining government plans and strategies for tackling challenges in various sectors. Madbouly assured that the government is open to criticism and diverse opinions, and citizens' queries and concerns collected through the forum's website and other platforms will be addressed transparently during the sessions.
