Cabinet Reviews NUCA’s Dollar-Denominated Land Allocations to Companies

Cairo:During its weekly meeting chaired by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, the Cabinet was briefed on the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) Board's approval of 43 requests for land allocations to companies. These allocations will be conducted under a dollar-denominated sales system, with payments made from outside Egypt, adhering to the approved regulations and mechanisms.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the land allocations include plots of various sizes located in New Borg El Arab, New Cairo, 10th of Ramadan, 6th of October, Sadat, El Shorouk, Obour, Badr, New October, New Mansoura, New Beni Suef, New Assiut, Hadayek October, and New Aswan.

The plots are intended for diverse uses, including commercial, urban development, residential, administrative, educational, hotel, investment, and service projects. Additionally, they will accommodate workshops, warehouses, two vehicle service and fueling stations, and a green-energy data center.

Furthermore, the Cabinet approved a decision by the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund to offer remaining housing units in a project of 111 buildings in the Mohamed Mehran area of El-Raswa, south of Port Said. These units will be available to eligible beneficiaries of social housing projects previously offered in 2013, as well as applicants for cooperative housing.

The decision outlines the rules for this offering, which include a maximum monthly income of EGP 15,000 for individual applicants and EGP 19,000 for families, along with the applicable financial obligations for beneficiaries.
