PM Reviews TSFE’s Strategy to Maximize Returns on State Assets

Cairo: Prime Minister Mosutafa Madbouly reviewed efforts by the Sovereign Fund of Egypt (TSFE) to maximize returns on state-owned assets, reaffirming the government's commitment to transforming underutilized public assets into sustainable investment opportunities through strategic partnerships with the private sector.

According to State Information Service Egypt, during a meeting with Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Mohamed Farid, attended by TSFE Chief Executive Noha Khalil, Madbouly said the sovereign fund plays a central role in strengthening Egypt's position as a regional investment hub while safeguarding the interests of future generations.

Farid stated that the fund is adopting innovative operating models to enhance asset value and attract domestic and foreign investment. He added that TSFE plans to expand internationally through a dedicated Africa-focused investment fund targeting banking, non-banking financial services, tourism, healthcare, and education, as well as a separate industrial investment fund.
