Cairo: Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly followed up on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, the work of the Cabinet's Supreme Medical and Emergency Appeals Committee over the course of last November, based on a report prepared by Medical Advisor to the Prime Minister and Chair of the Committee Hossam Al-Masri.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the Prime Minister praised the committee's efforts and the efficiency of its work throughout the month, and noted its clear keenness to intervene swiftly and to respond to appeals, especially critical cases. He directed that mechanisms for monitoring medical appeals be reinforced and that the best possible responses be provided in continuous cooperation and coordination with the relevant bodies, underlining the committee's important role in delivering a range of health services to citizens across all governorates.
Dr Hossam Al-Masri explained in the report that during November the committee was keen to provide a rapid and optimal response to citizens according to the circumstances of each case. Its work included monitoring and responding to 1,192 appeals received via WhatsApp, the media and various social media platforms, all of which were handled as required.
