Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly attended a ceremony marking the 12th anniversary of the 'Tahya Misr Fund' in New Alamein City on August 12, 2026. The event was attended by ministers, senior officials, and state representatives, celebrating the fund's contributions over the years.According to State Information Service Egypt, the ceremony began with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Sheikh Mohamed Wafiq, followed by a documentary chronicling the fund's journey and activities. Matrouh Governor Mohamed El-Zamlout welcomed the attendees, extending appreciation to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi as the initiative's founder. El-Zamlout highlighted the fund's achievements in supporting the Gaza Strip and Egypt's governorates, emphasizing its tangible impact without the need for theoretical explanation.El-Zamlout expressed pride in Matrouh hosting the event, particularly following Prime Minister Madbouly's recent visit to the governorate. He noted that the visit resulted in decisions and projects expected to benefit Matrouh residents and enhance development efforts.The governor affirmed the significant contributions of the Tahya Misr Fund and civil society organizations across Egypt. He expressed hope for the ceremony's success and greater cooperation among organizations to reach all Egyptian communities.Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Randa El-Menshawy praised the fund as a model of integration between the state and society, reflecting participation, national responsibility, and social solidarity.
