Cairo: Egypt's Civil Aviation Minister Sameh el Hefny has expressed the country's readiness to support Venezuelan airlines by facilitating their operations and expanding air services between Egypt and Venezuela. This initiative aims to boost travel, tourism, and trade between the two nations.
According to State Information Service Egypt, during a meeting in Cairo with Venezuelan Ambassador Wilmer Omar Barrientos, discussions focused on cooperation in civil aviation. The meeting also covered the latest developments regarding a draft air transport agreement between Egypt and Venezuela. This agreement is anticipated to create a regulatory framework to support air traffic growth and enhance air connectivity between the two countries.
Ambassador Barrientos highlighted Venezuela's plans to promote tourism and strengthen ties with Middle Eastern countries. He emphasized the significance of expanding air transport links with Egypt to open new avenues for cooperation.
