Matrouh: Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation Rania Mashat on Thursday affirmed the government's commitment to providing prosthetic devices that meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency to support the reintegration of injured individuals into society.According to State Information Service Egypt, Mashat made these remarks during a visit to the prosthetics center in Matrouh governorate, where she sought first-hand information about the support provided by the center to landmine victims. During her visit, the Minister witnessed the delivery and maintenance of 100 prosthetic limbs for residents. This initiative aligns with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to localize the prosthetics industry and support landmine survivors.While inspecting the manufacturing and fitting processes at the center, Mashat emphasized the importance of maintaining high efficiency standards and ensuring regular maintenance of the prosthetic devices. The Planning Ministry is actively working on upgrading the prosthetics center in Matrouh through a partnership with the German side, aiming to enhance the center's capacity and its role in localizing the prosthetics industry in Egypt.
