Egyptian Industry Ministry Calls for Industrial Projects to Join APIP Platform

Cairo: The Ministry of Industry has issued a call to all industrial project owners in Egypt to join APIP.online, marking the platform as the first official digital marketplace in the Arab region for industrial and mining products. The platform seeks to foster industrial integration across various sectors among Arab countries.

According to State Information Service Egypt, this initiative is part of Egypt's ongoing strategy to enhance Arab economic cooperation and industrial integration. Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, Kamel Wazir, has emphasized the importance of this digital transformation and the need to bolster Arab industrial collaboration.

The Egyptian Ministry of Industry is working closely with the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDSMO) to ensure the success of this initiative. The APIP platform is a significant AIDSMO project that aims to support connectivity among Arab factories by facilitating industrial and commercial exchanges, linking Arab companies, and offering a comprehensive digital database of demand and supply for industrial and mining products across Arab countries.

The platform is designed to enable Arab countries to leverage each other's industrial and mining capacities. It will provide access to all products, production inputs, and spare parts to factories locally and regionally, thereby opening up export markets and reducing import gaps through Arab industrial integration.

Significantly, APIP offers its services free of charge to participating factories, encouraging widespread adoption and participation from industrial players across the region.
