New administrative capital: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli chaired the first meeting of the newly reshuffled cabinet at the New Administrative Capital, focusing on critical political, economic, and social issues. The meeting aimed to establish a clear framework for executing presidential mandates efficiently and within the designated timeframes.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the cabinet’s agenda involved discussions on President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives concerning national security, foreign policy, economic development, energy, production, and food security. The ministers were tasked with monitoring market prices and ensuring commodity availability as part of efforts to curb inflation and increase expenditure on health, education, and social protection.
Additionally, the meeting addressed strategies for localizing industries and boosting exports in line with Egypt Vision 2030. This initiative aims to support the most vulnerable citizens and advance national projects. The cabinet also reviewed previous measures related to investment, industry, export, increasing arable land, making industrial land available to investors, and topics concerning social security, taxes, and development.
