Cairo: The Ministry of State for Information has officially denied reports suggesting that a foreign vessel docked at Abou-Qir Port was carrying steel intended for weapons and ammunition manufacturing, en route to an Israeli port.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Ministry released a statement emphasizing that national authorities have verified these allegations as false and unfounded. The statement highlighted that all cargo operations at Egyptian ports comply with international maritime agreements and are subject to stringent real-time monitoring and tracking systems.

The Ministry has also called upon media organizations and social media users to uphold professional journalistic standards. It stressed the importance of verifying information and consulting reliable, official sources before circulating such claims.
